bringing people together to build a healthy world

Welcome to the Myanmar Reconstruction Network

Why this network exists

How to get started

In response to the devastating earthquake in Myanmar, this platform was created as a place for shared knowledge, connection, and collective action.

The road to recovery is complex — but we are not alone.
Engineers, architects, planners, site managers, NGOs and local communities all play a role in rebuilding homes and infrastructure that are safe, resilient and adapted to local needs.

This network offers a space to:

  • Exchange practical knowledge and experience

  • Collaborate across regions, disciplines and languages

  • Learn from real cases, questions and challenges

  • Share documents, tools and innovations

  • Find support and solidarity in the work ahead

Whether you are working on-site, contributing from abroad, or just getting involved – your presence matters.

  1. Register an account here → Register now

  2. Set up your profile – so others know how you can contribute or what you’re looking for

  3. Join the groups relevant to your work (e.g. Housing, Water, Schools…)

  4. Explore the forums – ask, answer, and connect with others

  5. Share what you can: a tip, a drawing, a problem, a success

No contribution is too small. This is a living network – shaped by its members.

Together, we can build back not only structures — but resilience, dignity, and new connections. Let’s get started.
